🪺Breeding

Breeding allows you to breed 2 Pokémon together and receive an offspring in the form of an egg. To begin breeding, you'll first need to run /breed and purchase a Breeding Nest.

After purchasing a Breeding Nest, simply place to the two Pokémon you would like to breed in the slots. These Pokémon must be compatible, meaning they must share at least 1 Egg Group and be Male x Female or, Male/Female x Ditto.

Once enough time has passed, the Pokémon will produce an egg for you to collect; the rate at which your Pokémon breed can be increased with certain ranks.

Hatching Eggs

When you collect an egg from your Pokémon it will be put into the Egg Incubator, if your Incubator is full the egg will instead be sent to your Egg Storage.

The eggs in your incubator will hatch as you walk or fly around the server; the rate at which Pokémon will hatch is measured in "Cycles", each cycle being 128 steps. The number of cycles required for your Pokémon to hatch varies between species and can always be viewed in the Egg Incubator alongside its progress toward hatching.

Breeding Info

Breeding is very intricate and has many ways that you can optimize the process to get the specific stats that you want on a Pokémon, you can always find all this information in the Breeding Guide at the bottom of the /breeding menu.

IVs

Both parents will pass down 3 random IVs to their offspring, which will not overlap with each other. The following held items can influence inherited IVs:

  • Power Weight will inherit the holders HP IV stat

  • Power Bracer will inherit the holders Attack IV stat

  • Power Belt will inherit the holders Defense IV stat

  • Power Lens will inherit the holders Special Attack IV stat

  • Power Band will inherit the holders Special Defense IV stat

  • Power Anklet will inherit the holders Speed IV stat

Size Variations

The growths of offspring are inherited from their parents. Growth inheritance is determined by the growth between the mother and fathers growths, with some random variance allowing the two growths directly next to the determined growth.

Ability

Mothers have an 80% chance of passing her ability to the offspring unless it's an HA, in which case it will have a 60% chance. The male's ability has no bearing on the inherited ability if a mother is present. If a male Pokémon breeds with a Ditto, the male Pokémon's ability has a 60% chance of being passed on. This applies to both normal and HA abilities. Ditto's ability does not affect this chance If the ability isn't passed to the offspring, it will randomly gain one of the base abilities for it's species, which can result in regaining the parent's ability if the parent passed down a base ability.

Egg Moves

If the father and/or mother knows a certain species specific Egg move, their offspring will inherit these moves. If the father and/or mother knows any moves that can be taught via TMs/HMs, the offspring will also inherit these moves if they are able to normally learnt hem via TM/HM.

Ditto Breeding

Breeding with other Pokémon Ditto can breed with nearly all Pokémon species, except for those classified as Undiscovered. This means you can use a Ditto as a breeding partner with a wide range of Pokémon to produce offspring. Breeding two Dittos When 2 Ditto are paired for breeding, the species of the resultant Egg will be randomized, excluding Legendaries, Ultra Beasts, and Mythicals.

Regional Form Breeding

The offspring of Regional Form Pokémon will always be the default non-regional form of that Pokémon. If a parent with a Regional Form is holding an Everstone, the parent's form will be passed on.

Destiny Knot

If held by either parent, 5 IVs will be passed from the parents to the offspring.

Everstone

If held by a parent, the offspring will always inherit the Regional Form and Nature of the parent holding the Everstone. If both parents are holding Everstones, the offspring will randomly inherit one of the parent's natures.
