Catching **Trophy Fish** is the main way to increase your [Fishing Level](/features/fishing/fishing-level.md). ![:trophy\_diamond:](https://cdn.discordapp.com/emojis/1452106581784137830.webp?size=56)**Angler Trophies** are awarded the first time a Trophy Fish of a given size is caught. To earn the maximum trophies from a species, **all four sizes** must be caught. Trophy Fish may be sold to the [Fish Merchant](/features/fishing/shops.md#fish-merchant) for ![:pin\_fish:](https://cdn.discordapp.com/emojis/1452109380639265020.webp?size=56)**Angler Credits**, where larger and rarer fish fetch a much higher price. Some species have additional attributes which affect whether they can be caught * Time: day, night, or both * Type: normal, fabled ## Catch Chance Trophy Fish have a base catch chance of **38%**, which can be increased by the following * Fishing during a **Wise Storm** (+10%) * Fishing at a Fishing Hotspot with an **Fish Chance** buff (+5%) * Upgrading the **Fish Chance** perk (up to +5%) ## Fabled Fish Fabled have a base catch chance of **0%**, which can be increased by the following * Fishing during a **Lucky Storm** (+5%) * Fishing at a Fishing Hotspot with an **Fabled Chance** buff (+5%) * Upgrading the **Fabled Chance** perk (up to +2%) * Activating an **Fabled Lure** (+100%) ## Trophy Fish Rarities *Fabled Fish are worth **3x** more* ![:pin\_fish:](https://cdn.discordapp.com/emojis/1452109380639265020.webp?size=56)*Angler Credits.*
