Trophy Fish can be found in four sizes (Average, Large, Massive, Gigantic) and six rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Exotic.

Catching Trophy Fish is the main way to increase your Fishing Level. Angler Trophies are awarded the first time a Trophy Fish of a given size is caught. To earn the maximum trophies from a species, all four sizes must be caught.

Trophy Fish may be sold to the Fish Merchant for Angler Credits, where larger and rarer fish fetch a much higher price.

Some species have additional attributes which affect whether they can be caught

• Time: day, night, or both

• Type: normal, fabled

Catch Chance

Trophy Fish have a base catch chance of 38%, which can be increased by the following

• Fishing during a Wise Storm (+10%)

• Fishing at a Fishing Hotspot with an Fish Chance buff (+5%)

• Upgrading the Fish Chance perk (up to +5%)

Fabled Fish

Fabled have a base catch chance of 0%, which can be increased by the following

• Fishing during a Lucky Storm (+5%)

• Fishing at a Fishing Hotspot with an Fabled Chance buff (+5%)

• Upgrading the Fabled Chance perk (up to +2%)

• Activating an Fabled Lure (+100%)
